It’s been fun to revitalise an old favourite the ‘Great Spotted Woodpecker.’ I’ve painted this favourite British bird a few times in the past, both smaller and larger editions and they always work exceptionally well with my barky tree like canvases. Particular my these on super barky English ash wood.

This edition is slightly more detailed than previous editions as my Spraypainting style develops. It’s a four layer stencil then hand painted on top to give the final artwork a little more finesse. Each one is unique, this particular artwork measures approx 20cm by 22cm, signed on the front and marked Artist proof on the rear. Only a few artworks left of this particular piece.
