Woody - It has been fun to revitalise an old favourite the woodpecker. This particular Lesser Spotted Woodpecker is always popular and I have painted this British bird a few times in the past, both smaller and larger editions and they always work exceptionally well with my barky tree like canvases.

This edition is slightly more detailed than previous editions as my Spraypainting style develops. It’s a six layer stencil then hand painted with pens on top to give the final artwork a little more finesse. Each one is unique, this particular artwork measures 15 x 22cm, signed on the front and numbered on the rear. This particular piece is artwork is an artist proof. On this barky Ash wood makes a very interesting piece for any Stencil Shed collection.
