'Stonehenge' - Stonehenge artwork with light and shade has been created using a large piece of Ash wood which has been sustainably sourced from the South West. Getting wood this wide is difficult, so needs to be used for a stunning piece. To get the light and shade of sunrise new techniques which I have learnt over past few years of blending the subtle colours and refining the darker areas of the stones. Then finished off with specialised spray paint pens, grass effect and sneaky sheep. Best thing is that every bit of wood is distinctive, so they really are very unique. The natural colours of the wood has been enhanced by using a matt varnish before the spray painting begins.

This particular piece has a natural notch on the side edge next to the ancient stones. This fantastic artwork measures 100 x 43cm.

Number 3 from edition of 25, signed and ready to hang. All the artworks in this edition will be different and I will never know when I will be able to get wood this size again!
