‘Speedy’ - created in 2024 a highly detailed Ladybird with vivid red blends to highlight the shape. I use the pyrography tool to highlight line and form with more subtle shadowing than previous editions. Very much compliments the style of the Butterfly, another one of my artworks. Great contrast of natural insect colours complimenting the red tones in the Elm wood.
Spray painted by Syd, signed on the front numbered 34/100 on the rear. Size 14 x 13cm. Handmade on sustainably sourced wood from the UK.
