‘Speedy’ - created in 2024 a highly detailed Ladybird with vivid red blends to highlight the shape. I use the pyrography tool to highlight line and form with more subtle shadowing than previous editions. Very much compliments the style of the Butterfly, I made earlier this year. Great contrast of natural insect colours complimenting the red tones in the Elm wood.
Handmade by Syd, signed on the front numbered 34/100 on the rear. Size 15 x 13cm.
